Adhik Masik Krishna Janmashtami is a Hindu event celebrated on the 14th of March in 2023. On this Adhik, Krishna is worshipped with the Krishna worships. The birthday of Krishna is also observed after the Puja Vithi of this day. Vasudev is the father of Krishna, and Dewaki is the mother is Kirshna. Both father and mother of Krishna are also worshipped after Krishna worships on this festival day.

This day is essential because it was when the holiest God of Hindus, Krishna, was worshipped. Puja named Krishna Puja Vithi is presented to Krishna. Women followers of Krishna offer Krishna Vrat to Krishna for the blessings of their baby’s health. Janmashtami is also associated with this Adhik, and the birthday of the various Krishna avatars is also celebrated after Krishna worships. 

Significance of Adhik Masik Krishna Janmashtami

Vasudev was the father, and Dewaki was the Kirshna mother, so this day is significant for the worship of Dewaki and Vasudev. The Vasudev idols are decorated, and Krishna dresses are worn to them as it is the Krishna Jayanthi. According to the old scripts of the Hindus, Vasudev fought wars with the evil Gods and got the victory from them. So this festival is essential for the Vasudev victory celebrations against the wrong God. Charity activities and Bhajan ceremonies are also arranged in honor of Krishna at this event.
