Adhika Chandra Darshana

Adhika Chandra Darshana is a ritual act related to Chandra. In 2023, it was arranged for the 21st of February. This is the day when the Homage is paid to the moon, and the hymn is presented to the moon when the moon is not present in the sky. As the Chandra is visible in the sky, the Muhrat Chandra is stopped, and the Chandra idols are worshipped in the Manders. Rituals about Adhika Chandra Darshana

Milk and water with rice are included in the offering products to Chandra. As the night of this festival day arrives, all the Chandra followers come out of their homes in open ground to present worship to Chandra. There are worships offered to Chandra on this event; Chandra prayers and Puja are essential among those worships. As the Chandra Puja Vithi ends, Chandra Bhajans are recited before Chandra. By performing all the rituals related to this Chandra Darshan, the worshipper receives blessings in the form of health and prosperity from Chandra.
