Agni Nakshatram Ends

The festival celebrated in the temples named, Murugan temples are called Agni Nakshatram Ends. It is arranged by the Tamil people from the full world, especially india. The other name given to this event day is called Kathir. The sun shows different motions and goes through the various stars. The main star crossed by the star on the event is called the Krittika star. In 2023, it will be presented on the 29th of May. 

Worships offered on Agni Nakshatram Ends

• Kartikeya is the Hindu God, according to the Tamil community people. They worship these Gods and offer prayer to them on the day of this event. The idols of the Kartikeya are decorated and adorned with flowers. 
• The flowers used in the decoration will be fresh and yellow. Other than the yellow flowers, other colors cannot be used for decoration. The art of Kartikya made by the Tamil people is displayed on the walls of Mander. 
• The round-taking ceremony is also arranged on this gala in which the worship offering person has to go to the Giri Veedi hills and take the round these hills. The water is also collected from the holy river for future use as medicine. 
• The Shiva Manders are adorned, and worship is also offered to him. The Bowls used for offering Puja to Shiva will be taken from the Murugan temples and washed before offering him. Flowers are filled in the bowls and presented to Shiva as a Puja gift.
