There are special fasts that are offered on Aja Ekadashi day. The other name of the fast provided at this event is Aja Ekadashi Vrat. The bathing activity is also the main work and worship of the day. It is taken before the sun rises. The fast is dedicated to Vishnu. The food also prepared on this day is named Satvik food. According to the Indians, it is also thought that by eating the food called Satvik, all the negativities from the food-eating person are removed, and its mind becomes a fresh mind free from all types of negativities. While offering the fasts, there is no permission to eat the honey before and after the fast.
Aja Ekadashi Rice and Diya
The material that is used in the bathing includes Sesame seeds. The Puja is offered after the bathing. The rice is cooked for this purpose and then kept to get cold.
