Akshaya Navami

Navami on which the Amla tree is worshipped is called Akshaya Navami. It is an important festival of Hindus and is celebrated with great devotion in india. Fast is presented by women in honor of gods, and due to worship of the Amla tree on this day, it is also called Amla Navami. Like Bhai Dooj, the month it is celebrated is called Kartik, and Paksha related to this Navami is called Shukla Paksha. In 2022, it was arranged for the 2nd of November. 

Akshaya Navami (Significance) 

This Navami has great importance for the Hindus. Among worship, prayer worship has excellent rewards as the prayers offering person receive unlimited blessing from God. Prayers are performed to God for the fulfillment of wishes and salvation from God. Moksha is considered the heaven of Hindus and Vishnu’s room. Prayers offering person gets a place in Moksha as a reward for providing Navami prayers. In addition, sins are forgiven due to Navami’s fast.

Celebrators got up at sunrise and started bathing activities at Ganga. After taking a bath, the bath taker moves to where Amla trees are present and offer worship to him. In Amla worship, Puja is presented to him, and new clothes are wrapped around it. Milk is given to the roots of Amla, and thread is tied to it as a holy thread. While tying the thread, Navami Katha is recited, and celebrators sing Navami songs. Charity activities are performed at the end, and new clothes are donated to deserving people with food.
