Akshaya Tritiya

Akshaya Tritiya is a festival in Hinduism that is celebrated in the holy month of Vaiskhaka according to the Hindus calendar. On this festival of the Hindus, Gold is bought from the Gold market in India, which is then offered to the Lord. The timings are also fixed for the Gold buying on Akshaya Tritiya. The exact date to buy the Gold for Akshaya Tritiya festival day is the 4th of May. The timings are also fixed to buy Gold, that is 05:40 pm. On this day, new items of daily routine are bought. This is the best day to start business and other activities. The Gold bought, after offering to Lord, is then donated to poor people.

According to the old celebrators of Akshaya Tritiya, it is celebrated in the ending days of March and the starting days of April. In 2023, Akshaya Tritiya will be celebrated on the 22nd of April, 2023. The day will be Saturday, the 22nd of April. The Muharat Puja is also offered on this day. The time is fixed for the Muharat Puja. Muharat Puja time will be started at 07:49 am and end at 12:20 pm. 

Rituals on Akshaya Tritiya 

Worshipper has to get up early to get a fresh bath in the holy rivers or the private bath. In addition to the bating, fasting activities are also offered on this day. The Vishu is worshipped with prayers that are only offered to it. There is a devi which is named Parvati Devi is also worshipped on this day. Other than the prayers, flowers are also to Vishnu on this day for their honor. Sandalwood paste is offered to Parvati. In addition to this, worship can also be offered to Lakshmi. The Puja is also offered to the Vidhi with different things that are mentioned below

• Milk

Worshippers go to the bazaar to buy Milk. After buying Milk, it is taken to a home where it is boiled. There are unlimited things that are mixed in the Boiled Cold Milk. Sugar and Almonds are the main ingredients added to the Boiled Milk. After getting ready, the Milk is offered to Vishnu in Vishnu Mander.

• Channa Daal and Wheat 

Channa Daal is also bought from Channa Daal Market. After buying it, a few items are mixed in it that make it spicy. It is then offered to the Parvati. Like Channa Daal, the Wheat is also bought from the market, and special slices of bread are made from this Wheat that is then offered to Vishnu.

• Gold and Clothes

The Time is Fixed to buy the Gold. Certain Gold items are made from this Gold that is then offered to Vishnu. These items are donated to poor people that are worshipping in Mander. The new Clothes are bought and then worn to the idols of Parvati and Lord Vishnu in temples.
