Akshaya Trutiya

Akshaya Trutiya is the Hindu festival which is also called Akha Teej. The new acts are performed on this day. Annapurna is another name for Lakshmi, mainly used in this event. Olds and married women perform puja to Lakshmi idols and Vishnu. The purpose of the married women offering Puja to Lakshmi and Vishnu is to get fortune and great wealth from them.
