Ashadha Purnima

The festival of the Hindus that is celebrated in the holy month of Ashadha is named Ashadha Purnima. The Vrat activities are also offered at this festival, and a unique name is given to it. The word given to the Vrat activity of Ashadha Purnima is Gopadam Vrat. The other character in the term Ashadha Purnima is celebrated as Guru Purnima. It is celebrated like Guru Purnima because all the event celebrations relate to it. This event also has great importance in religions other than Hinduism, like Buddhism and many more. 

Works on Ashadha Purnima day

You have to wear unique clothes at the time of worship. The clothes don’t need to be new, but they clothes are clear and clean as it is mandatory. The transparent garments should be worn after taking the Ashadha Purnima bath in the holy rivers or the private bath. Satyanarayan Katha is also recited in the Temple; listening is necessary; if you can repeat the Satyanarayan Katha, recite it and receive God’s unlimited and ultimate blessings. Feeding activities are also required that can be performed among the Barhamans or the poor people. The Devoters of the day have to wear new clothes that are yellow.
