Ayutha Poojai

Ayutha Poojai is the festival of the Tamils in which weapons are worshipped. The guns used in everyday life and the weapons that play an essential role in survival are honored on the event day. The celebration of Ayutha Poojai is arranged during the Navratri event. The plans are made to worship the weapons. They are well decorated and adored with flowers on festival day. This event celebration is also held in the school and colleges of india other than the Tamil temples.

Kalasha Puja

Kalasha puja is the prominent Puja of the event arranged in the Kalasha temples. The instruments, like cutters, are placed in front of the God, and the Puja is offered to them. The tools worshipped are decorated with white flowers. These are placed in the center of these instruments. Few people put the devices on the walls of the temples for worshipping. In other words, the worshipped tools show the Vishnu power and are incredibly blessed on the festival. 

Lakshmi Puja

The Puja is presented to the Lakshmi, and the temples are well decorated. For decorating the Lakshami temples, white flowers are taken from the gardens, and garlands are made for this purpose. The Lakshami idol is also ornated with colored dresses and bouquets. Performing the Puja in the temples is optional, but you can also complete the Puja activity at home. 

Reason for worshipping instruments

The reason for worshipping the instruments is to honor them. As we use various appliances in our daily lives, and they are helpful in our survival. Different devices are used in the wars, and one side is the war due to those instruments. All the tools and objects are worshipped on this day, and the lavish Puja is offered to them.
