Bhishma Dwadashi

Bhishma Dwadashi is celebrated on the 12th of Magha, according to the Hindus. The fast offered at this event is broken in the evening, and the fasting person has to offer Puja to God after breaking the fast. Krishna is also worshipped at this event. A recitation ceremony is arranged on this festival in which the Mahabharata is read by the Puja offering persons after the Puja rituals.

• Before starting all the festival-related rituals, the worshipper has to go to the holy rivers for the bath. To offer the fast, it is necessary to use Sesame seeds and banana leaves.
• The Panchamrit is distributed among the Puja-offering persons. The distributed Panchamrit is made up of various materials. The superior materials are honey and milk.
