Chhath Puja

The festival celebrated in India, especially in Northern India, is named Chhath Puja. Certain rituals are only performed in the Chhath Puja. The prominent state of Northern India is where this festival is primarily celebrated. The main cities in which Chhath Puja is celebrated are Uttar Pradesh and its relative city, Nepal. The gods that are worshipped on Chhath Puja are the Sun and the Goddess that is called Earth. The bath taken in the holy rivers is also offered to the Sun and the primary Goddess named Earth for seeking their blessings.

Sun fast

The Fast that is offered on Chhath Puja is named Sunfast. Sunfast is the particular type of Fast that is provided on this day. There is a proper way of delivering this quickly. In the first step of giving the Chhath Puja fast, you must get up at the time of the prayer. And after getting up, you have to bathe in the water of the red flowers extracted from the red flowers. When the Sun rises, the time for the Fast will be started, and by offering Puja to the Sun, the Fast will be kept. In addition, when the Sun is set, it will be time to break the Fast.

Food on Chhath Puja

The food offered on Chhath Puja is the Kheer, Daal Channa, and Sabzi. In the Sabzi, the Kadu is added. The Kadu Sabzi is presented to God in the temple. In addition, the Kheer offered to the Lord will also be prepared on the day of the event. Different materials will be added in Kheer; after the function, it is taken by all the people in the Mander. Unique materials are added to the Kheer; in those materials, the Kishmish is the first item. A small quantity of sugar is added to the Kheer to make it sweet.
