Chopda Puja

Puja presented to Lakshmi on Purnima day is called Chopda Puja. According to the calendar of Hindus, it is arranged in Ashwin, and Paksha related to it is called Shukla Paksha. It is celebrated in the various states of india. Mostly it is celebrated in Gujrat by Hindus. Various plans, especially business plans, are made on this event day, and before making all plans, Puja is presented to Lakshmi in Mander. 

Chopda Puja (Significance)

Before this festival, Diwali is celebrated in India. But as the Chopda day arrives, the arrangements are made to offer Puja to Lakshmi. People make new accounts for placing their money to secure them. According to the concept of Hindus, this day, they increase security for their money as they generate new accounts. After making the new accounts, Laptops are worshipped in the Manders by placing them in front of Lakshmi idols. It is considered an auspicious activity by the Hindus. 

Chopda Puja (Rituals)

The business class of the Hindus arranges rituals related to this day. Puja activity is performed by bathing, wearing new clothes, and placing a piece of holy cloth at the top. Lakshmi and Ganesh’s idols are placed in the front, and garlands made of mango leaves are worn. While recognizing the idols and pieces of clothes, the account books and laptops are also placed on the top place. After the Puja Act, Aarti related to Lakshmi is performed, and charity products are distributed for wealth Lakshmi blessings.
