Damodara Dwadashi

Damodara Dwadashi is a festival of Hindus that is celebrated in honor of Vishnu. It is related to Shukla Paksha and is arranged in Shravan, the holy month of Hindus. Other than Vishnu, Shiva is also worshipped on this day. It also shows harvesting season, and a ceremony is arranged on the day crop harvesting starts. After performing all event rituals, Prasad is given to all worshippers for blessings of the day.

This event is celebrated in honor of Vishnu, so event worship is also dedicated to him. One who offers worship to Vishnu and Shiv and offers Puja to them in the temple will get blessings in the form of Vishnu prosperity according to old ritualistic books of Hindus in which the history of this event is written. In addition, the charity activity related to this day proved to give happiness and Vishnu-Shiva wealth. 

Ritualistic acts arranged on Damodara Dwadashi

There are many ritual acts arranged on this day. Among those acts, important event rituals are given below. 

• Damodara celebrator got up after the first sun ray and took a bath for performing event worships. 
• After the bathing ritual, come to Mander to serve the fast activity. While offering fast, beans are used. 
• In the signing ceremony, Vishnu and Shiva Mantras are recited, and new clothes are donated to deservers. 
• For Damodara’s salvation, prayers are presented to God. in a result of these prayers, the ancestors of worshippers are also blessed.
