Dhanteras

The biggest festival that is celebrated in India is named Dhanteras. This is the only festival that starts in one month and ends in the other month. There is a month called Dhanteras and another month named Bhaiya Dooj. It began in the month of Dhanteras, and in the month of Bhaiya Dooj, it ended. There are specific activities that are related to the Tithi are also performed on Dhanteras. The Lord that is worshipped on this day is named Kuber. The Lakshmi is also worshipped on Dhanteras for the Lakshami blessings.

Rituals related to Dhanteras

• The Puja offering person must get up after midnight and take a unique bath. As the tub has been taken, start offering the Puja to the Lakhami. 
• Decorate the rooms where the idols are present. The materials that you can use to decorate the idol rooms are flowers and Diyas on Dhanteras.
• For decorating the offices, use different types of lights in different colours. In addition to this, clean the offices before starting decoration.
• Offer Puja to the Lakshami by presenting Diya to her. To light up the Diya, use the Desi ghee and add Tulsi leaves powder. 
• Make unique sweets that you have to present to the idols of Lakshmi and those who have offered Puja to the Lords. 
• The necessary thing to be done on this day is to decorate the Manders of Lakshmi. For this, use pieces of clothing in various colours.
• If you are worshipping the Vishnu, you have to prepare the Satvik food, the favourite food of the Vishnu and present it while suggesting Puja.
• Bhog Prasad is the necessary items that you have to prepare on Dhanteras. Add Elaichi to make it tasty and fragrant, and offer it to Vishnu.
• The Diya is also presented to Vishnu. The Diya you will contribute to the Vishnu must have Wheat flour in it with a small quantity of Tulsi.
