Dhulivandan

Dhulivandan is the Hindu festival celebrated after the celebrations of Holi. It is also called Dhuli Vandan, and Phalguna is the month according to the calendar of Hindus when Dhuli is arranged all over india. In a few states of india, this day is organized in Maharashtra month. Farmers especially celebrate it and prepare themselves to cut the crop that grew last year. In addition, this day is essential for the Shiva and God Vishnu followers as they offer worship to them.

Soil worship and Rangoli celebrations on Dhulivandan

All the farmers come to their plots, where they grow crops and offer soil worship to the soil. According to the beliefs of Hindus, worshipping earth on this day leads to getting high-yield blessings from God, and the yield is increased. Rangoli celebrations are also performed in which people throw colors on each other and turn white dresses into colorful dresses. Children also participate in the Rangoli celebrations and bring a bottle filled with colored water to throw bright water on each other for great enjoyment.

Shiva worships on Dhulivandan.

Shiva’s followers say that it was the day Shiva took birth and came to earth to bless his followers. Few people say that this day is best to offer Shiva Puja for salvation and to clear sins. Shiva worshippers present Fast and prayers to him for worship rewards. Shiva temples are decorated, and Shiva food is cooked for charity activities. Idols of Shiva are adorned with yellow dresses, and Shiva art is presented on them. While offering Shiva Puja, Manters and Shiva Katha will be recited with devotion, and at the end, Shiva food will be given to God as a charity product.
