Ganesh Chaturthi

Ganesh Chaturthi is the only festival celebrated by people of all castes in India. The Ganesh is worshipped on Ganesh Chaturthi. There are reasons for worshipping Ganesh at this event. The one reason to honor the Ganesh is that the Lord can remove all kinds of Hurdles from the life of his worshippers. There is an excellent visit of Ganesh to the earth on any day among all ten days of the festival. The people in their homes build beautiful states of Ganesh. They are also present at the shop of Ganesh idols if anybody wants to buy from there. There are notable efforts made by all the celebrators that differ from the steps made on the other festivals of the same type.
Customs related to the Ganesh Chaturthi
Images of Ganesh
Beautiful images of the Ganesh are printed by the person who will offer its Poja. The size of all the photos is different. To place them in the Mander, the large-sized pictures are designed, and for using them in the homes, the worshipping persons prepare the small-sized drawings. The image print of all the paintings is identical. The color adjustment will also be the same. As they get ready, they are dried by placing them in front of sunlight. After all, they are taken to the temples are placed on the home wall to offer Puja to the Ganesh.
Ganesh Manter
The Manter is also recited on the Ganesh Chaturthi. While reciting the Manter, specific materials are collected in the bowl. The materials in the bowl include coins, coconuts, etc. The cash placed in the bowl is then donated to the poor as it is the rule that the coins placed in the bowl while offering Mnater will be granted to the poor after the end of Manter. In addition to cash, other materials added in the bowl, like Cocunets, are used by the people who recite Manters. Special homemade Jaggery is also added to the bowl while repeating the Manter. This Jaggery is given to the local people of Mander, that offer prayers in return to the Jaggery given person.
