Ganga Dussehra is the only Hindu festival where the Ganga bathing activities are performed to remove ten sins from the list of sins. These ten sins are related into different categories. Three are related to mental sins, four are related to speech sins, and three are related to physical sins. In 2023, Ganga Dussehra will be celebrated on the 30th of May. It is also celebrated at the edges of the Ganga river in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Ganga Dussehra is called an event that is related to bathing activities. All the people have to gather on the Ganga river edges that pass from the cities of Uttar Pradesh. The special prayers are offered to God at the place specified by the holy person named Om Ghat.

Ganga Dussehra is necessary for clearing sins and celebrating the person of the day. Ten different types of sins are discussed in the paragraph and cleared on this day. In addition to this, salvation is also acquired by bathing one person. There is a mother of Hindus named Ganga, the revealed mother on Ganga Dussehra day. It came on near the Ganga at its river edge. After reaching there, she took a bath and said, “One who will take a bath on this day in the Ganga by memorizing me, I will clear its ten sins mentioned above.
