Gauna Parivartani Ekadashi

Ekadashi, on which a strict fast is presented to Vishnu, is called Gauna Parivartani Ekadashi. Fast time started on event day and concluded next after all celebrations of this festival. There are three options to offer Vrat to God Vishnu. Among those three options, the first option is to provide Vrat to Vishu without drinking little water; or use water while offering a fast; the last option is to use fruits while presenting a Fast to God. 

Effects of Gauna Parivartani Ekadashi Vrat

Offering Vrat on this Ekadashi removes the Melific effect related to the planet from the life of the offering person. A fasting person is blessed with unlimited blessings of Vishnu, and his ancestors are also blessed and get Vishnu salvation due to offering fast by their offspring. In addition, Vishnu also showered his special blessings in the form of happiness on the life of a worshipper. Worships, especially fast and Puja, are also affected by the sins of the worshipper person. 

Gauna Vishnu Puja and fasting on Gauna Parivartani Ekadashi

Worships like Puja and fast are presented to Gauna Vishnu on this day. Manders related to Gauna Vishnu are designed with Vishnu arts, and decorated idols of Vishnu are taken there. All the women, including widows, can also come to the temple to offer Puja to God. Fasting rituals are also performed in Mander as fast is offered and concluded in Mander. Gauna Satvik food is prepared to break quickly on the event the next day, and Puja to Vishnu is also arranged after fast-breaking.
