Ghatasthapana is the ritual act performed during the Narartri events. In Hindus, Navratri is celebrated in honor of Durga, and Durga idols are invited to the temples on this gala. As the Navratri events begin, Durga idols are decorated by the women and taken to the temple to offer this worship to her. Worshippers are not allowed to present this act at night and on Amavasya.

- Take Kalash and wash it with holy water. After cleaning Kalash, fill it with water, and on the outer side of the Kalash, you have to apply the turmeric.
- Decorate Kalash by placing coins and wrapping them with a beautiful dress. The leaves must lower the surface of the water in Kalash.
- After wrapping Kalash with the dress, place the outer layer of the coconut around it. Make Kalsah more customized by applying Sandalwood to it.
- Place the decorated Kalash at the top surface and offer a ritual act to it. For offering Puja, present fruits and garlands as necessary for the Puja Act.
- At the end of Puja, distribute Bhogi among Puja persons and sing the Manters of Durga. The Manters of Durga recited after all Durga worships are called Gauri Aartri.
