Hanuman Jayanti

The festival celebrated in honour of Hanuman, considered a God in Hindu society, is called Hanuman Jayanti. On this day, Hanuman was born, written in different books in Indian literature. There are different dates and times when the Hanuman Jayanti is celebrated in the regions where Hindus live. On this festival, the worshipped God is considered Hanuman, and all worship its followers make is dedicated to it. 

Festival Hanuman Jayanti in 2023

The Hanuman Jayanti will be celebrated in April according to the Gregorian calendar. There will be the 6th of April and the day will be Thursday when it will be celebrated. It will be celebrated with great devotion in the Temple of Hanuman on this day and date. 

Urgency of Hanuman Jayanti 

Hanuman Jayanti is the most important festival day for all Hindus because there is Hanuman’s birthday at this event. The churchgoer must visit the Holy rivers to grab the holy bath. After grabbing the Holy bath, go to the temples of Hanuman. Before starting the festival, every follower must visit the Temple and see that all the worshipped items are present so that the worshipper is not disturbed on Hanuman Jayanti day. If the idols of Hanuman are broken, it is the responsibility of the churchgoer that stays there to buy a new idol of Hanuman or to the collection to buy a new idol of Hanuman. There are devoted Pujas that are offered to the Hanuman on festival day. The lamps are also lit by adding pure desi Ghee to the Lamp oil box. The idols of Hanuman are enriched with fresh butter. In addition, the Garlands are also prepared by the few followers of the Idols of Hanuman. On the festival day, those made garlands are worn to the Hanuman idol. All the worships and activities of the day are love signatures of Hanuman followers for Hanuman.
