Devoted pujas are offered to Hanuman on the festival day, and lamps are lit using pure desi ghee. The idols of Hanuman are adorned with fresh butter, and garlands are made by a few followers for the Hanuman idols. On the festival day, devotees wear these garlands to the Hanuman idol. All the worship and activities of the day are a display of the love and devotion of Hanuman’s followers towards him.
