Heramba Sankashtahara Chaturthi

Heramba Sankashtahara Chaturthi is a Chaturthi event that is celebrated in Ganesha temples. Krishna Paksha is linked to this day as its celebrations are also arranged on this day. It is not arranged all over India but is mostly celebrated by communities living in north India. There are various physical forms of Ganesha, and among those forms, mostly worshipped form of Ganesha on this day is Heramba Ganpati. The main feature of this event is to finish all the problems present in worshipper life. 

Routine works on Heramba Sankashtahara Chaturthi

• The main event ritual is a strict fast which is presented to Ganesha. The event fasting person has to get up before sunrise and arrange food materials for offering the fast. Before fast offering, bating is necessary, and it can be taken at home or in Ganga. 
• As the moon has appeared, fasting worship will be concluded, and the Puja act will be started, which will be presented to Ganesha. For offering Puja to Ganesha, Ganesha idols or Gnaesha arts are placed in front, and Puja activity is started. 
• Ganesha foods are prepared, especially the favorite food cooked, Modak. Modak is a sweet prepared on this as a favorite food of Ganesha. It is offered to Gaesha as well as distributed among Poors. 
• Durva grass is used for Ganesha idol decoration. Before Puja rituals, Ganesha idols are decorated with Durva grass and garlands of various colorful flowers. Ganpati Manters are also Recited in the Ganpati temple in honor of Ganesha.
