Holi

In the spring, a great color event is celebrated in India named Holi. There are celebrations in which the colors are thrown at each other. The water prepared that is called Holi water, in which various colors are mixed. All the people gathered on the ground where there was no distinction of caste among them. According to the Hindus, spiritual activity increases the spirit of the people celebrating this day. The celebrators wear colorful dresses. Most people wear white dresses named Holi dress that is colored with the Holi water. 

Celebrations on Holi

Holi is an event suggested in India and the regions linked to India. The works that are done on this day are related to the enjoyment category. The new dresses are worn, and the water bottle named color guns are taken from the bazaars. The water mixture is made in those bottles. Different colors are mixed in it. The colors incorporated into it are blue, yellow, green, red, etc. Most people make bottles in which the water is present, having independent color from the other bottles. 

Other works on Holi

The other works on the Holi are the Puja and food preparations. A few people offer the Puja activity. Most people enjoy this event by throwing colored water at each other. But the old religious people dedicate this day to the top gods. They offer worship to them. The Puja bowls are colored with the colored water people throw on each other while enjoying the day. The remarkable Puja is presented to the Vishnu God because he is the reason for the Holi’s happiness, according to the religious people of India. The foods prepared on this day are Mathri and Bhang. Young and older adults take the Bhang. Thandai is also regarded as the event’s food and is taken after enjoying the colors-throwing ceremony.
