How Indira Ekadashi is important
There is significant importance to Indira Ekadashi for the reasons mentioned below.
Ancestors Forgiveness
All the ancestors are forgiven on this day due to the prayers offered by their relatives. The relatives of the ancestors offer special prayers for their forgiveness. Few people provide the fast, and a few people suggest the Food to the Vishnu in the personal Mander of the Vishnu. The Food offered to the Vishnu in the Mander will be exceptional. There are unique materials that are added while making that Food. In those materials, the almonds and the Tulsi are included. A small quantity of butter is also said in it. The butter that will be added must have to be fresh; otherwise, Food will not be accepted by God, and the forgiveness of the ancestors by the Vishnu becomes impossible.
