Jagannath Rathyatra 14 june

Jagannath Rathyatra is one of the community’s important festivals related to Hinduism, on which the God Jagannath is worshipped. The Puja presented to the Jagannath on the event day is called Jagannath Puja. The prayers are also offered to the Jagannath God, which are named Jagannath prayers. Besides the prayers and Puja, the fasts are also arranged by the few most religious people of india and are called Jagannath fast. 

Jagannath songs 

The songs related to God are played in the marches on the festival day. The loudspeakers are hired from the bazaars of india on which the songs are played in a loud voice. The Manters are played on those speakers by the religious people who joined the marches. In the temples of Jagannath, the great Puja activities are also held there, and songs dedicated to God are played in the temple. 

Jagannath Puja 

The Puja is offered to God in his temple. The idols of the great God are cleaned, and the temple is also washed before the day. As the temple was cleaned, it remained off for the festival rituals. Last year’s bowls for the Puja are also scrubbed with flower oil. Then all the bowls are placed in front of the idol of God. the Mantra is recited, and after reciting the complete Mantra, the Puja activities start, and the great Jagannath Puja is presented to God. 

Foods on Jagannath Rathyatra

Desi foods are prepared for God’s offers. The foods prepared are showered with the Tulsi Patra, and the Kheer is included. Last year, the exceptional Jagannath food was ready on the 1st of July. The foods prepared on the event day include Kheer, Halwa, and Poori. Presented food would be given to the poor and the persons who take care of the temple the whole year.
