Jalaram Bapa Jayanti

Jalaram Bapa Jayanti is the Jayanti day celebrated by followers of Jalaram Bapa. This day marks the birthday celebrations of Jalaram Bapa. The Gujrat people mainly arranged it as Jalaram Bapa belonged to Gujrat. In 2022, it was set on the 31st of October in Gujrat and the other cities where followers of Jalaram Bapa were present. Its month of celebration is also Kartik, like Bhai Dooj and other Hindu events. According to Hindus, the birth year of Jalaram Bapa is 1799, and he was a great follower of Rama (Victory God).

• The temples of Bapa are decorated one day before the event by his followers, who are excited to celebrate his birthday. 
• The idol maker makes new Bapa idols and displays Bapa pictures on them. Few idol makers painted them white as a ritual colour of his Jayanti. 
• As the idols get ready, they are washed in the holy water of Ganga, and new clothes are worn. Only some people offer garlands to Bapa as a gift. 
• Vishnu temples are also decorated for those who cannot reach Bapa temple so that they can offer prayers to Bapa in the Vishnu temples. 
• The fasting persons cook food to break the fast and offer it to God. Rama is also worshipped as he was worshipped God of Bapa. 
• All Jalaram followers perform Puja Vidhi in temples of Jalaram, and prayers are presented for health and wealth blessings. 
• Jalaram Bapa worshippers receive great rewards like success, prosperity, knowledge, and wisdom from Bapa due to his worship and birthday celebrations on this day.
