Janmashtami Smarta

Janmashtami *Smarta is the festival when the Eighth Vishnu avatar is worshipped. All the worship is made at midnight. The Idols of the Eighth Vishnu avatar are taken from the homes of the temple as it is impossible to go to the temple at midnight. The eighth Vishnu avatar is named Krishna. In other words, Lord Vishnu is worshipped on Janmashtami *Smarta. The foods and the Puja bowls are prepared by the human who will honor the Vishnu. The Krishna worshipper will also prepare the idol and Puja and Poja bowls. 

Areas where Janmashtami *Smarta is celebrated

The whole day will be celebrated in Uttar Pradesh. In addition to Uttar Pradesh, it is also observed in the areas of India near Uttar Pradesh. The Devaki queen is worshipped on Janmashtami *Smarta. In addition to the Devaki, the kings are worshipped on this day. The King that is honored on Janmashtami *Smarta is named Vasudeva. The people of the temple lighten the love stories of Krishna. The Krishna Manters are also recited in the Krishna temples.

Celebrations on Janmashtami *Smarta event

All the Janmashtami *Smarta rituals will start in the morning, which shows before the sun rises. In the worship list of the event, the first worship will be the decoration of all the idols that will be present in the temples of Krishna. The flowers are plucked from the red garden and washed with fragrance oil. These are the particular flowers used for making different-sized garlands for Krishna. Garlands peoples are hired from the market to make the garlands for the Krishna idols. More than a hundred garlands are prepared for the Krishna idol. One wreath is given to each Puja offering person who offers it to Krishna before the Puja. 

Items presented to the Krishna Idol on Janmashtami *Smarta event

The Mor Pankhs are presented to the idols of Krishna. For this purpose, few people buy small peacocks named the children of the peacocks. They progress with that peacocks, and then their feathers are used during the days of Janmashtami *Smarta. These features are used to decorate the temple and given to the minor children as gifts. The curd and special Mkahan are also presented to Lord Krishna on Janmashtami *Smarta.
