Jaya Ekadashi is the Hindu festival arranged in India to clear all the Sins by worshipping Vishnu. The Vishnu fasts are offered to the Vishnu for his blessings. Few people offer Worship to Shiva at this event. As Shiva is called the God of happiness, for this purpose, fast and prayers are offered to him on this day. The Shukla Paksha is related to this event. If someone offers prayers for the ancestors, the sins of his ancestors are also cleared on this event.
Importance and ritualistic points related to Jaya Ekadashi
- Jaya Ekadashi is important to clear all the sins by worshipping the day.
- Use Satvik food to break the fast offered for the Shiva blessings.
- It is not allowed to use Pulases of any sort to use till the end of the event
- The worshipper has to take a bath before starting the Worship.
- Celebrators of this event have to offer prayers to the Mata.
- For offering the fast, you cannot use rice as they are not allowed.
- After the Puja activities, the Puja offering person has to sing songs
- This day is perfect for making life easy and for removing all life hurdles
Charity activities on Jaya Ekadashi
Charity activities are specially performed on this day. The worshippers come to the temples and take new clothes and gifts for the Gods. After the event’s Worship, gifts and clothes of various designs are distributed among the poor, which is called the event’s charity activity. Few people cook Jaya food on this day to give to the poor. Money is also donated to the poor to help them financially. This is also added to the charity activity of the festival.
