As the celebrations of this festival consist of five days, the Vrat activity is also arranged till the end of the gala in honour of Jaya. On the first day, Vrat is presented to Parwati and Puja with sesame seeds and oil. The Jaya idols are also washed on the first day morning. On the second day, Parwati followers stand in front of Parwati and present Bahjans and devotional songs in praise of Parwati to her. After all the celebrations, the Parawti Manters are recited, and the day fast is broken with salt and milky food items.
