Functions on Kajari Teej

I have already told you that Parvati is the Goddess on Kajari Teej. The day’s celebration arranges the grand celebrations to puja the Parvati Idols. In those celebrations, one celebration is the celebration of Mehndi. In the Menhdi Celebrations, the Mehndi is taken from the Bazar before the one day of the festival starts. After accepting, it is wilted in the home using water, brought to the Temple, and applied to the Idol’s face and hands. Few Indians applied the Mehndi to the Face of an Idol. the Idol to which the Mehndi is used is the Idol of Parvati. The other God on Kajari Teej is named Vishnu; you know it is the Top God of Hindus.

Kajari Teej is a woman’s festival celebrated by the women who believe in it. The women dressed very well on this day and went to the Temple for worshipping. Unique Sarees are prepared by the women and worn by them on Kajari Teej day. The women apply a particular type of Sandoor on their fingers and the face parts. The fasts are also offered on this day so that Parvati feels relaxed and happy. The Bhog Prasad is also presented to the Parvati. A particular type of Katha named Kajari Teej Katha resides on the event in the temples of Parvati and Vishnu. There is a proper method of breaking the fast on this day. To break the fast, the fast breaker has to offer a particular type of water to the Moon, his God of fast-breaking, and then he has to worship all the cows in the Temple.
