Kalabhairav Jayanti 4 December

Kalabhairav Jayanti is a Hindu festival that is dedicated to the Kaal Bhairav. All the prayers and fasts offered on Kalabhairav Jayanti day are dedicated to the Kaal Bhairav. Last year, it was observed on the 16th of November. The Kalabhairav Jayanti Tithi is also performed on this day with excellent arrangements. The Kaal Bhairav is the other name of Shiva which is also Lord in the Hindu religion. The fasts’ unlimited features are offered today, like excellent protection from enemies. The sense of greatness from the fast-offering person also vanishes. In addition, there is the birthday anniversary of the Gods that is also performed on this day. On the birthday ceremony, special cakes are prepared in the bakeries one day before the Kalabhairav Jayanti.

• The first work is the Kalabhairav Jayanti bath taken in the holy river on the day of the festival.

• Unique flowers are plucked from the gardens that are offered to the God that is called Shiva.
• Sweets are prepared in the homes offered to the Lord in the temple and given to people.
• The Diya is lit up with the special oil that is named mustard oil in the temples and home roofs.
• Jaggery is prepared in homes with good flavour, and a small quantity of flour is mixed.
• There is the Puja that is offered to the God Kaal Bhairav. Before offering Puja to God, take a Puja bowl from home. 
• There is a particular type of material that is named Liquor. This item is also offered to the God on Kalabhairav Jayanti.
• KATHA is also recited on this Kalabhairav Jayanti. The Katha that is recited on Kalabhairav Jayanti is named Kalabhairav Jayanti Katha. 
• There is a particular type of Prasad that is prepared on this day for God’s offering, named Meetha Rot.
