Kalki Dwadashi

There are various avatars of Vishnu which are worshipped at different events. The avatar worshipped on the festival named Kalki Dwadashi is called Kalki. The Kalki fast is presented on this day in honor of Kalki. Shukla Paksha is related to this day as all celebrators celebrate the Kalki event after twelve days of this event. In 2022, it was arranged for the 7th of September. 

Significant points related to Kalki Dwadashi

According to the religious people of India, this was the day Vishnu took birth in the form of Kalki. Due to Kalki’s birthday, birthday celebrations are also arranged on this day in the temple. As a result of rituals, the evils of worshippers are finished, and he enjoys life with good deeds. In addition, the sins of the fasting person’s ancestors are cleared, and he gets knowledge and wisdom from Vishnu. 

Rituals on Kalki Dwadashi

• Bath activity of this festival is arranged especially as a bucket with Gangajaal is filled with water, and a bath is taken with that water. 
• Fast presented on this day will not be broken; instead, it will be concluded on Dwadashi Tithi. 
• There are two kinds of Puja offered at this festival. Among those pujas, one is called Parana Puja, and the other is called Kalki Puja. 
• Both Puja activities are started and finished at the same time, and as a result of both acts, the Sins of the offering person are forgiven by God.  
• Charity activity is also arranged on this day in which clothes and footwear are donated to charity deserves.
