Among all the Ekadashis of the Hindus, the first Ekadashi is called Kamada Ekadashi. Before this day, the Chaitra Navratri is celebrated. Rama Navami is also celebrated before it. The principal activity on this day is called fast activity, which is performed on the event day and concluded on the next day of the festival. The sins of this Ekadashi worshipper are cleared, and he remains protected from the Malefic effect related to the planet.

Importance of Kamada Ekadashi

This day is important to clear the sins and to be saved from the Malefic effect. The worshipper gets a peaceful mind to worship God. he finds happiness in his life, and the evil deeds are finished from his life. In addition, the sins of the fasting person’s ancestors are also cleared on this event. All the wishes of event celebrators are also fulfilled with the help of God. The fast of this day is called Kamada fast, which is dedicated to Krishna. 

Fast on Kamada Ekadashi 

The fast observed on this day consists of 24 hours duration. Duration the Vrat time, only some food items are allowed to eat. Among those items, Moong Daal is prominent. Before offering a fast, fast offering person will go to the holy river and take a holy bath there. The Narayan Katha will be recited in the temples of power God Shiva, and songs related to the Vishnu will be sung in the Vishnu temple. According to the old religious people from India, the wishes of the fast person are fulfilled on this day due to the Ekadashi fast.
