Kamika Ekadashi

The day of Vishnu worship is called Kamika Ekadashi. Kamika Ekadashi is also a critical Ekadashi, according to the Hindus among the 24 Ekdashis. There are special fasts that are related to the shiva on Kamika Ekadashi. On the day of the festival, the temples of shiva are washed with water with red and yellow mixed flowers. Other than the washing of the Shiva Temples, the temples of Vishnu are rinsed with hot water, and the flowers’ fragrance is mixed. All the lovers of Kamika Ekadashi day go to the temples of the God of the day, and certain ritual activities are performed there.
Customs on Kamika Ekadashi
Certain ritual customs are performed on Kamika Ekadashi. In these customs, the following rituals are included.
Bathing Activity
A sacred bath is taken in the holy rivers like Ganga and Yamuna. There is a proper reason for bathing in the sacred rivers. The bath taker thought that the Vishnu would forgive all the sins of it due to their bath in the river that is regarded as sacred due to its blessings
Poja Activity
The Poja activities are also part of the festival, but proper instructions must be followed while offering the Poja. In those instructions, one education is that the heart of the Poja offering person must be clear and devoted so that the God Vishnu feels the Poja activities of you worthy and bless you.
Fasting Activity
There is another ritual that is related to the fast. In this ritual, you must offer the fast by eating little grains. As the fast time starts, dont come near the food items because they are strictly prohibited. The fast of the fasting person will only be accepted in one case if the fasting person offers no sin till the day’s end.
Food and Diya activity
Food and flowers are also offered to the Vishnu while offering Puja. There are specific reasons to provide food during Puja. The food offered to the Lord is divided among the poor after all the day’s worship. The is also provided to Vishnu, and the flowers are wrapped in the Diya so that it looks beautiful, and it is the tradition of Hindus.
