Karkatakam Sankramam is the festival celebrated by Hindus in india. On this event day, the Sun moves from one Rashi to the other, and the Rashi in which Sun enters is called Karka Rashi. This day marks the journey of the Sun, and this journey of the Sun is called Dakshinayana.
