Karwa Chauth 1 November

The Festival arranged by the women of the Hindus who are married is called Karwa Chauth. In 2023, its celebration will be set up on the 31st of October and finished on the 1st of November. The married ones offer the long day fast to the sun, and the other lords, Krishna and Vishnu. The main purpose of the fast the women is to get the blessings of God for the children and their husbands. While the other women who are unmarried till the reach of the Festival get married by the special fast of the Chauth event. 

What is the importance of Karwa Chauth?

The main importance of the event is from the marriage point of view as the married, and unmarried women celebrate it. The unmarried women had to offer fast to the Mata for the unlimited blessings of the Mata on the life of her children. While they also offer the fast to get blessings of Mata from the husband wealth for his richness. At the same time, the other girls offer the event fast to get married to the boy they want to marry. This event is important in Hindu life as it is best for married and unmarried women to fulfil their heart desires.

Tasks in Temple on Karwa Chauth

• Light up Diya in front of God’s idol
• While offering PUJA, use a plate instead of Bowl
• Fill the Puja plate with the Wheat grains
• Distribute Bhog Prasad at the end of PUJA.
