Kerala Vinayaka Chathurthi

Kerala Vinayaka Chathurthi is the Chaturthi event on which Ganesha and various Ganesha forms are worshipped. Shiva is considered Ganesha’s father, while Parwati is Ganesha’s mother; these are also honoured with Ganesha worship on this event day. Ganesha birthday celebrations on Kerala Vinayaka Chathurthi

This Chaturthi is also celebrated as Ganesha’s birthday, and the ceremony related to Ganesha’s birthday is arranged in the Shiva temple. Ganesha Puja is presented to God’s idols during the birthday ceremony, and prayers for success and prosperity are offered. Manters are recited for God’s blessings. Shiva idols are also decorated, and while celebrating Ganesha’s birthday, Shiva idols are placed near the Idols of Ganesha, and Puja is presented to him.
