Labh Pancham is a Hindu event celebrated when Diwali comes to an end. The moon phase during this festival is called the waxing phase, and the month of its celebrations is called Kartik, according to the calendar of Hindus. Shukla Paksha and Panchami are also related to it, and it is also called Gyaam Panchami. Worshipped God on this Pancham day is called Ganesha, and the worshipped Goddess is called Lakshmi.
Labh Pancham (Rituals)
Prayers are presented to Lakshmi for divine blessings, and Pujan activities are performed in the Lakshmi temple in honour of Lakshmi. The puja activity arranged on this day is called Sharda Pujan, and people related to the business class move to their shops and offer prayers there for God’s blessings for wealth. Relatives invite each other and offer best wishes to each other. Sweets are also shared among relatives to make their relationship sweetened. Books are worshipped, and their scripts are recited in the temple after Puja. In charity activities, clothes are donated to people experiencing poverty at this festival.
