Longest Day of the Year

Summer Solstice is the related name for the Longest Day of the Year. The Hindus also present this day due to the excellent take part of their God named, Sun. The young people of india enjoy the day by going to the river edges and taking fresh baths in the Ganga and Yamuna. The foods are also cooked on the river edges after the holy bath in Ganga and Yamuna.

According to a few Indian astronomers, there is the welcome ceremony of the winter in the form of celebrations of the day.
