All Hindu community celebrates Maha Shivaratri to give honor to their God, which is Shive. Shiva is the most famous God of the Hindu community for which Maha Shivaratri is celebrated. This festival is celebrated in February with tremendous and top arrangements. The Hindus also named Shiva as Deities. This is also the same as January festivals in which prayers are offered, and fasts are performed. The Hindus also offered prayers on this day to get unlimited blessings from Shiva. They thought that if they prayed on this day, all their desires would be fulfilled.

Activities on Maha Shivaratri

There are specific activities that are done on Maha Shivaratri day. The Ratri Puja is also included in it. The Ratri Puja is done on a different day because days are fixed for Ratri Puja. Hindus’ optimism thought that they could attain unlimited blessings if they will Puja the Ratri. The time for Ratri Puja is given below. Keep in mind that about four Pujasatri are done at three different times. All the Pujas of Ratri will be performed on 19 February 2023

  • Time for First Ratri Puja

The first Puja of Ratri is started at 06:13 pm and close at 09:24 pm. 

  • Time for second Ratri Puja

The second Ratri Puja is started at 09:24 pm and ends at 12:35 am.

  • Time for the third Ratri Puja

The third Puja of Ratri begins at 12:35 am and finishes at 03:26 am. 

  • Time for the fourth Ratri Puja

The fourth and last Ratri Puja begins at 03:46 am and finale at 06:56 am.

Certain items are offered to Shiva on this day. All the items are food items, and make the Shiva, please. The things offered to Shive are fruits and leaves of Bel. in addition, milk is also included in it that is provided to Shive on this day. All these make Shiva happy.

The fastings and offering of different things to Shiva make Shiva happy. Due to the happiness of Shiva, unlimited blessings are showered on each Shiva worshipper.
