Maharana Pratap Jayanti

Maharana Pratap Jayanti is the day presented to the Maharana Pratap due to his birthday. Every year, it is arranged for the 9th of May. He was the king of the Rajput families, present in Uttar Pradesh at the time of his kinghood. The Indian Rajbut appreciated this king’s power and well-fought wars on this Jayanti. In 2022, the all-Indian Rajput association arranged it on the 2nd of June. 

Arrangements on Maharana Pratap Jayanti

• The grand marches are organized in various parts of Rajasthan. In these processions, the new statues made a few days before the Jayanti are presented to the public, and along with the statue presentation, the rallies are also observed in the marches. During the protests in the various Indian states, the schools and the other institutes are turned off regarding Maharana Pratap. 
• The Puja works are also performed in the temples of Maharana Pratap, where his followers come to offer Puja to him. The warrior king’s Statue is decorated well with yellow and red flowers. The candles are lit up in the side corner of the Idol of Maharana Pratap, and then the Puja activities are started. After the Puja, the sweet foods are distributed among the Puja offering persons. 
• The great speech programs are arranged near the chief minister’s residence, where the prime minister and the chief ministers are invited. In these speech programs, knowledgeful speeches are made by the CM and the PM to inform about the stories of Maharana Pratap so that they act upon them and work like him.
