Mahavir Swami Jayanti

The event celebrated in honour of Mahavir Swami is called Mahavir Swami Jayanti. There is a local-level holiday at this event. The religion in which it is celebrated is called Jainism. On this day, the governmental and educational institutions remain closed, and all the officers are ordered to commemorate the event. Mostly this day is celebrated in the areas of Bihar. The Assam people look to be interested in this event and arrange the wonderful birthday celebration of Mahavir Swami. There is a great gathering of children in the temple of Mahavir Swami, where they sing songs. The older adults gathered there to offer the Puja to Mahavir Swami. 

Puja to Mahavir Swami

The Puja ceremony, named Mahavir Puja, is arranged in the temples of Mahavir Swami. The old idols of the Mahavir Swami are not used for worshipping people. They hire new heroes and use them to offer worship. The standards are washed with the special Sarso oil. The washing of the model with the stars means the bath of the idol. The temples of Mahavir Swami in the Parasnatha are primarily used for the Puja offering ceremony as a ceremony held there. 

Mahavir Swami fast

The fast is offered to the Buddha on this day. The fast offered to the Buddha has unique features related to the Mahavir Swami Fast, as both are avatars of each other according to the Hindu concept. While offering birthday ceremonies to the God’s avatars, the Puja is gifted to the gods. The birthday is provided during the fast as it is a vital part. Ordinary people do not take the food presented to God in the birthday ceremony because it is prohibited. All the people that offer the Puja to God and have no fast take that food after the Puja activity. The person who will provide the quick will break with the food offered to God as it is the rule of the fast that was provided on this day.
