Merry Christmas

The event organized at various points on the birthday of Jesus is called Merry Christmas. Every year, the event is ranked on the 25th of December in the Indian areas where Christian communities are present. Other than the Christian communities, the day is celebrated by communities not linked to Christians. Various arrangements regarding Jesus’s birthday are performed at the event. 

Homes decoration

As the day is arranged by the families relating to the Christian and non-Christian communities, they decorate their homes for this purpose. They take lights from the houses and display them in the front of the homes, adding to the beauty of their homes. Few people light up Diya on the doorstep, and few decorate the doorstep with flowers. 

Trees decoration and gift sharing

It is the trend of the Christian community to decorate the trees around their homes. For this purpose, they hired decorators who decorated the trees with various lights. The gift among the families is also shared as a sign of love for each other. While decorating the trees, the ornaments are also taken into consideration. 

Santa Claus

Santa Claus is also named the father of Christmas. This main character of the day takes various gifts for the children, but only the idea surrounds the children’s minds. The parents play an essential role in maintaining the Santa concept of the children and take them to the Christmas bazaar to buy Santa gifts.
