Nag Pancham

Nag Pancham is also named Nag Panchami, the snake festival of Hindus on which various snakes are worshipped. It is by heart celebrated by the people of Nepal, and Panchami Tithi marks the days of its celebrations in Shravan. In 2022, it was presented on the 2nd of August in various Indian states. Worshipped God is called a snake, and snake rituals are presented to him for his blessings.
Ritual acts performed on Nag Pancham
- The ritual person has to wake up at midnight or before sunrise.
- Bath will be taken in the Yamuna to get holy for worshipping Nag.
- Puja will be presented in front of Naag Arts and Vishnu Arts.
- The homes are decorated with black garlands and Naag art.
- All the Naag celebrators have to take a bath to celebrate this event.
- If a Naag follower can make the Naag pictures, he has to make for Naag blessings.
- One who cannot make Naag arts must buy from the market and present to Naag for blessings.
Celebrations on Nag Pancham
Kumkum will be presented to all snake arts, and Naag sweets are made to get happiness from Naga. While offering Puja to Naga, milky items will be given to Naga, and Kheer will be made from Mata cow milk. Abhishekam is the activity done in honor of Vishnu for Vishnu blessings at the end of all Naga worships. Naga worshippers will receive blessings from Naga through Naga’s wealth and prosperity in life. In addition, his ancestors are also blessed with Naga blessings.
