Naga Panchami

According to Hindus, snakes are their Gods, and they should be worshipped. The day on which worship is presented to snakes is called Naga Panchami. This day is essential to get the blessings of God called the snake. KumKum is given to snakes after breaking Naga fast, and prayers for salvation are offered to him. In addition, Shiva is also worshipped as it is also a form snake God. Shukla Paksha is related to this Naga event as both are celebrated on alternative dates and days. 

Significance about Naga Panchami

There are various features of worship presented on this day. According to old Naga followers, worship of this festival leads to finish the effect of snake bites and snake fears. In addition, this day is considered auspicious for worshipping various idol forms of snakes with flowers and milk. On this event, more than 10 forms of snakes are brought to the temple, and worship like Naga Puja and Naga fast are presented to them.
