Navratri Begins the Festival that is celebrated for more than ten days. In 2021, it was celebrated on the 7th of October. All ten-day nights are essential for the event. Grand celebrations are done on the Navratri Begins, which are also performed at night. In addition, Navratri Begins has tremendous importance from the charity point of view. The special charity activities belong to this event as all worship is related to the charity activities performed by the special people who are financial. In addition, the Puja activities performed on this day are also associated with the night ceremonies. The month in which the Navratri Begins is celebrated is named Ashwin. The Puja of Durgo is performed on the 5th day of the event.
Ten-day worship on the Navratri Begins.
First day
Special worships are performed on the Navratri, Beginning the first day. The worship performed on the first day is related to the Shailputri, the Goddess of Indian women. The men and the women perform these worships. The Shailputri is the daughter within the relation to the mountains.
Second day
The God worshipped on the event’s second day is named Brahmacharini. All the worships are related to the Brahmacharini. The Puja offered to it is called Brahmacharini Puja. The Brahmacharini fast is also provided on this day with grand celebrations, and the fast-breaking ceremony is also arranged.
Third day
On the third day, Chandraghanta is the God of worship and is honoured with great prayers. The fast related to the Chandraghanta is named the Chandraghanta, quickly offered on the event’s third day. In addition, the Puja is delivered to the Chandraghanta on the event’s third day with the unique Bowl that is green in colour.
Remaining days
On the festival’s fourth day, the Kushmanda is the Goddess of Honor. On the event’s fifth day, the Skandamata is the Goddess of Worship. Likewise, there are different Goddess that is worshipped. All the worships that are performed on each day are related to that God. all the idols that are honoured during the days of the festival are then taken to the Ganga, where they are immersed there for washing purpose and then taken to their respective temples for worshipping in the next year.
