There is another name used in place of this Ekdashi, Bhima Ekdashi. Two Gods are taken as the main God on this Ekadashi, and those are Bhima and Vyas. in the History of Nirjala Ekadashi, it is written that there was a fast that the Vyas and Bhima offered. The Bhima offers fast on this Ekadashi on the advice of the Vyas. The Whole Hindu set offered great blessings due to the offering of the fasts of Vyas and Bhima on Nirjala Ekadashi. To tribute the fasts of Vyas and the Bhima, the religious and celebrators of the festival offer strict fasts on this Ekadashi. The fast observed on the Nirjala Ekadashi is called as Nirjala Ekadashi fast.

Last year, 2022, the Ekadashi Tithi was set up on the 10th of June at 07:25 am and was closed on the 11th of June at 05:45 am. Another activity that was offered last year in 2022 was Parana. The Parana activity started at 01:44 pm on the 11th of June and was concluded at 04:32 pm.

Fast on Nirjala Ekadashi

There is strict fasting activity that is offered on this day. The rule for the fasting activity is that I will be offered to drink any water. In the history of the Hindus, it is written that the holy people of Hindus offer strict fasting on Nirjala Ekadashi without drinking any water, and they dont use any type of food material while fasting. The duration of Nirjala Ekadashi also consists of 24 hours, which is so strict for a weak person in its religion. Strong religious persons can offer only the fast. The name was also given to this fast, which is Nirjala Ekadashi fast. After 24 hours, the fasting person is permitted to break the fast by using little food quantity, and all sins will be cleared that he has committed from birth to the day of the festival.
