Parivartani Ekadashi

Parivartani Ekadashi is a Hindu event celebrated after ten days of celebrations of Shukla Paksha. In 2022, it was arranged on the 6th of September, but in 2023 it will be celebrated on the 25th of September. Presented fast on this day is concluded on Tithi named Dwadashi Tithi. Puja is presented to Vishnu after Breaking fast, and food used while concluding the fast is called Bhog Prasad. Sins of Puja offering person and his ancestors are cleared on this festival to reward gala worship.
Importance about Parivartani Ekadashi
This Ekadashi day is an important event for all Hindus, and all worship events are offered to Vishnu. This is the day when Vishnu changes his position and moves to another position. As the event started, Vishnu was asleep, and due to the event worships, Vishnu awake and blessed all worshippers with his special blessings. This day is considered best for getting salvation and prosperity from Vishnu because Vishnu is blessed on this event.
Ritualistic acts dedicated to Parivartani Ekadashi
- The bath of this day is taken after a few minutes of sunrise, and this bath activity is called Brahum Mahurat.
- Vishnu worships like Puja and prayers are performed after bathing in the Vishnu temple to Vishnu idols.
- While presenting Puja to Vishnu, Tulsi leaves are taken in a Puja bowl and offered to him as a Puja food which is considered good.
- Other than Vishnu, Shri Vishnu, and Lakshmi idols are worshipped and decorated with flowers and yellow flower garlands.
