Parsi New Year

The event that is celebrated in India among the community belonging to Parsi is called Parsi New Year. The other point dedicated to the Parsi New Year is Jamshedi Navroz. There was the king Jamshed of the country named Paris, who announced the calendar of Paris for the first time.

Foods on Parsi New Year

The Parsi community prepares special foods on this occasion. The ready food is exceptional Parsi food. The specially formulated foods are also shared among the various other communities as a gift for them. The most crucial dish prepared today is the traditional basis Berry Pullao. Besides the Berry Pulao, the Farcha dish is also made in homes. Few people start their businesses today and only some shift to their new homes.
