Parsva Ekadashi

Parsva Ekadashi is an event that is only celebrated for the respect of Vishnu. A Vishnu fast, also named Parsva Ekadashi fast, is offered on this day. As the sun rises, the Ekdashis related to it is also started, and their arrangements begin. The Ekdashis celebrated on this day are activated and end at midnight. The positions of the Vishnu also change on this day. According to a few Hindus, the work of Vishnu is changed from the left to the right. As before the festival, Vishnu is at complete rest. Only at this festival is Vishnu’s position changed from the correct place to the left post and from the left position to the right position. The festival began at 05:54 am on the 06th of September and finished at 08:33 am on the 7th of September. 

Parsva Ekadashi greatness

Some Vrats are offered to the Vishnu; in return, there is unlimited wealth in which the Vishu gives greatness, happiness, etc. Lord Vishnu feels relaxed due to the worship offered to it, and due to relaxation, the position of the Vishnu is changed from right to left. The change in the Vishnu part is gradual and takes place gradually. As more worship is offered, Vishnu will feel relaxed and provide more blessings to the people. This is an excellent day due to the unlimited benefits of Vishnu in its worship, showing a person of the day. One who is ill is cured on this day if he offers Parsva Ekadashi Vrat to the Vishnu. In addition, unlimited blessings are provided to the people, like prosperity, etc.

Worships on Parsva Ekadashi day

Bath without any soap is taken on this day. The Gangajaal is used in the bucket where the water is filled to supply clean water. The Idols of the different Gods are placed in the front while offering the Puja. Vishnu and a particular form of the Goddess are included in those Gods. The lamp is also lit up on this day as it will brighten the minds of all people in the Temple. Different types of sweets are made in the home, taken in the Mander, and then offered to the Lords. These sweets are getting ready with DESI ghee, and certain other materials like Tulsi and ghee are added to that food. The food is divided among the poor and eaten by the people in the Mander.
